How much does mobile auto detailing cost on Long Island?
Mobile auto detailing on Long Island starts at $125 for a sedan Quick Detail and $300 for a sedan Full Detail at Al's Auto Detailing. SUV and truck pricing starts at $150 and $350 respectively. Subscription plans are 10% off one-time pricing, with bi-weekly Quick Details starting at $225/month for sedans.

Do you need water or electricity hookups for mobile detailing?
No. We bring our own water supply, generator, and all professional-grade equipment. We can detail your vehicle in any driveway, parking lot, or street parking spot across Long Island. We only need a 10-foot clearance around the vehicle to work efficiently.

What areas of Long Island do you serve?

How long does a full auto detail take?
A Full Detail takes 4-6 hours depending on vehicle size and condition. A Quick Detail takes 60-90 minutes. An Exterior Detail takes 2-3 hours; an Interior Detail takes 3-4 hours. We schedule one or two vehicles per day so each gets full attention.

What's the difference between a car wash and auto detailing?
A car wash removes surface dirt in 5 minutes for $20. Auto detailing is a 1-6 hour deep clean using clay bar decontamination, leather conditioning, and steam extraction. Detailing restores the paint and interior to like-new — a car wash can't.

Do you offer subscription or maintenance plans?
Yes. We offer three monthly maintenance plans: Weekly Quick Detail (4 visits/mo), Bi-Weekly Quick Detail (2 visits/mo), and Monthly Full Detail (1 visit/mo). All plans are 10% off one-time pricing, card on file, auto-charged monthly. Plan members get priority scheduling.

Do you come to my house, or do I drop the car off?
We come to you. Al's Auto Detailing is fully mobile — we bring water, power, and every piece of professional-grade equipment to your driveway, office, marina, or job site anywhere across Nassau, Suffolk, the Hamptons, and the North Fork. No drop-off, no waiting room.

Do you service the Hamptons and the North Fork?
Yes. We detail throughout Southampton, East Hampton, Sag Harbor, Bridgehampton, Sagaponack, Westhampton Beach, Greenport, Cutchogue, and the rest of the South and North Forks. We also handle boat detailing marina-side on both forks. Custom routes for weekly Hamptons summer service.

Can you detail boats, RVs, and water slides?
Yes — alongside cars, we also detail boats (hull wash, oxidation removal, marine ceramic sealant) at your marina, dock, or trailer; RVs (exterior, interior, and slide-outs); and residential and commercial backyard water slides (oxidation removal, color restoration, UV sealant). All custom-quoted per job.

Do you do fleet detailing for businesses?
